Pillows

My bed is looking pretty good right now. I've spent a solid three plus hours writing tonight. Tomorrow I have to hand in what I've got so far for my thesis. I'm nervous for my thesis advisor to read it. It's starting to come together, but there's still a lot of revision yet to do on certain parts, not to mention all sorts of reworking and rewriting and other fun writerly processes.

This weekend was sort of blah. I've been feeling downcast, for lack of a better adjective. I'm not sure what's bringing this on, but I'm exhausted and life looks too tedious. This morning the Lord reminded me that all I've got to do is fix my eyes on Him. I feel much better after writing. It's been fun this semester involving God in my writing. That sounds kind of strange, I know, but I feel like God has been an active part of my writing and my faith has been sneaking into everything I write. I'm so thankful for the ways I can connect with the Lord through writing. Such fun.

The future is less certain that I thought it was a week ago. But enough of that. Time for bed, or maybe a few chapters, then bed.
