I fell off the wagon yesterday evening.

(Well, dramatically put. Mostly, I violated the rules of my diet.) I was at the end of my Break Week ("because we musn't allow your body to grow used to only 500 cal. a day"), which meant I could eat a 500 cal. dinner (give or take) without carbs for seven days. Paradoxically, it left me more hungry in the evenings. I've been amazing at curbing my appetite and Not Eating All the Stuff I Want, but yesterday evening something snapped and I shovelled a handful of mocca-flavoured chocolate beans in my mouth.
It was delicious. BUT
Oops.
Reading the label was a sobering experience. 900 cal. per 100 gr. Yikes.
The transgression did give me the impetus to go to the gym this morning and work extra hard. Still. (Is impetus even a word? It's too late to go and check it.)
Tomorrow, I'll meet with my dietician. We'll see what the damage is.

I'm all for protesting, but a half-baked occupation of the building I have classes in at NINE IN THE MORNING?
Not cool, people, not cool. Especially because it meant that particular class was cancelled and I could've been doing something useful like studying sleeping.

Book Read: Heart of Darkness, by Joseph Conrad

i am not a morning person, i am a good student, the hate/love-affair with my reflection, i am shall0w and vainglorious
