Cross your fingers.
For those who don't know, I'm kind of worthless and still live with my mother. Yeah, I know, but 20k a year just don't cut it in CO, and I don't play well with roommates. Anyway...
My mom just got approved for a home loan. I'm honestly surprised, but that's another matter. She applied because a realitor friend found one, less than a mile from where we are now, that had just what she wanted.
Upstairs it has two bedrooms and one bath, and the kitchen. Downstairs, which has separate outside access, is finished and has two bedrooms, a bath, and the laundry room. So the basement would be mine, we'd only share the kitchen and the laundry room.
But here's the kicker - a detached two car garage. With space enough for a car on either side if necessary. So I'd no longer have to find a home for the hatchback, and could start tearing it apart right now.
As much as I HATE moving, I'm so excited. I really hope it happens. She's still deciding.
