Last night's Entertainment Tonight began with their 'featured story' about a famous model's survival in the tsunami ravaged Maldives. There was something about the way they framed this story, against the still rising death toll (100,000+), that really disturbed me. I guess when you've distinguished yourself as a celebrity you invite this kind of attention, but it's at times like this that one understands the cruelty of celebrity.
