HanaKimi - Hanazakari no Kimitachi E (花ざかりの君たちへ)
Hana Kimi is based in a shoujo manga written by Hisaya Nakajo.
|| synopsis ||
Ashiya Mizuki is a girl who moves from the US to Japan to meet Sano Izumi, a high jumper that she idolizes.
But he attends in a all boys' school called Oosaka Gakuen (Oosaka High School), so Mizuki needs to disguise herself as a boy to study there.
Sano had stopped track and field since an incident that happened during an trip to US, when he got hurt. Mizuki wants to see Sano jumping again, since he was one of the bests when he was practicing.
It's pretty hard for a girl to act as a boy in Japan, because they use diferent expressions. She must say "ore" to refer to herself instead of "atashi", for example.
However Mizuki tries to do her best, Sano seems to hate her. When she was almost giving up and returning to the US, there were some friends who cheered her up and helped her: Nakatsu, Umeda-sensei (the doctor), Akiha-san (the photographer).
The dorama is a little bit different from the manga. At the manga, Mizuki moves to Japan due to problems with her classmates at US, and in the dorama she goes to Oosaka Gakuen because she was the reason why Sano stopped to jump.

Although Hana Kimi isn't very realistic, it's a pretty funny dorama!
Oosaka Gakuen is a dream high school, full of handsome guys, and the contests between the dorms are so amusing!
Each dorm has its own characteristic: dorm 1 = martial arts, dorm 2 = sports, and dorm 3 = arts.
When the principal announces a new contest, they immediately start fighting to see witch dorm is the best!
And Ikuta Toma's character, Nakatsu, is soooooo cute! He's the funniest :D
When he was talking to himself I just died of laughing *-*
But I still prefer Sano&Mizuki instead of Nakatsu&Mizuki...
