I got to see him (and meet A, who is indeed awesome) over the summer, and it made me so happy. It's great when you can pick up the threads of a friendship like no time has passed at all.

(Also, in the backyard of their building that afternoon, I recognized a woman I'd seen in photos from a 1369 alum's trip to Bali. So that was delightfully wacky.)
