You built up the exact bike that I have been contemplating. Super Course, same color, only 62cm. It's my old road bike that I willed to my nephew but he outgrew it (the kid's 6-11!) before going off to college. Now it's back with me. I was thinking of building it with the S3X hub, sort of a scorcher look. But after reading your post, I'm leaning toward a flip-flop hub. I do like that inverted North Road bar. I've noticed that the S3X hubs have come way down in price since they were introduced.
I'm interested in what Velouria says on her test ride.
