I hiked the 6th highest mountain in Colorado today.

It also happened to be the most beautiful place I've ever been in my life (I know I say that alot, but this time, it's really true).
I saw yellow-bellied marmots and pikas squeaking and carrying grass around, as well as the most gorgeous and unique alpine flowers.
I then got lost in the Uncompahgre Wilderness with my friend for 3 hours due to an unmarked trail that turned into elk trails and then quit entirely and heavy rain.
I've never felt a bigger adrenaline rush.
Then we wandered with our compass through rivers and tundra and rock fields until we found the correct road.
This could be the beginning of a beautiful addiction (and sore muscles).
