CAMP TRIP!
okay...before I dive into the endless pile of hw ... I will update about the camp!
it was a 45 min bus ride...to nowhere~! we left at about 9 in the morning... when we arrived..the lodge we stayed in was basicly in the midddle of the woods....there were mosquitoes everywhere...and the sun wan still out!!! I had on long pants and short sleeve cus it was too much for sweater! sooo I sprayed myself with bug repellant the second we got off the bus.. the lodge smells.... there was 12 beds... 23 girls...1 bathroom...
...then we divided into teams and meet each other....
the first thing my team did was the leadership style thing ...which I will update about at a later time XD about the "Do's" and "Don't's" when communicating with me!!! HAHAHA some of them are pretty accurate!
then...we did the rope course...and man...was that tiring...
first thing we did was balancing on a board ..it sounds easy doens't it? but it wasn't cus we had this little 8th grade boy who keep messing everything up cus he is shall we say....VY energetic... and out-spoken
then...we did the swing into the hola hoops thing.............................. =.=' ................. what we did was....there are ten hola hoops on the ground...shaped in a triangle...the closest line to us was four..then three..then two..then 1 ...the rule was that we had to swing into the hola hoops from a platform using the rope suspended from the wire connecting two trees ..the trick was....each hola hoop can only hold TWO feet... and whatever hoop u land in ...u have to stay there.... we had 13 ppl!!!! 23 feet!!! that meant three ppl had to land and STAND on one leg... AND the rope isn't long enough to swing to the last two lines of hoops =.='' I had to go to the second to last line of hoops ......I had to swing from the platform... and everyone who was already there had to grab onto me...and carry me to the destinated hoop so I won't touch the ground ... then we are had to swing back (from where we landed ...) to the tiny platform fitting all 13 of close... that was the first time I had so many ppl touching me at once...felt so ..weird..
after that... we all stood on a log...and we had to switch spots on there without stepping off ..... a lot of ppl climbed over me....and I climbed over a lot of ppl ... each time some1 step off...we got a penalty.... mmm...that little eighth grader boy keep falling off....since I was right next to him and holding hands with him...he pulled me off TWO times...
THEN ...we had to ALL climb over a 6foot high fence....with NOTHING on the fence to use to climb with .... we got RJ over first cus he was the tallest..then he pulled others up... that one wasn't TOO bad..
this was the worst one...
we had to walk on wires tied between trees to trees...with nothing but our teammates to hold on to.... there was ropes in some part to hold on to.... Alex CHino was right behind me...blindfolded..so I had to guide him.... both of us walking on wires....
me: ( hugging the tree standing on wire) here! grab my hand!
alex: (holding on to the other tree) where? .....
that was REALLY exhausting..but we all made it ! :D
and then...we went to the beach and ate pizzas there.... i had more junk food than i would have in an ENTIRE month!!!!!!!!! healthy food the whole week this week!!!! no kidding!
after lunch..we hung out.and some ppl went to try the high rope course...where u do tricks walking on a log suspended between two trees WAY up high in air..and u get down by A) jumping down..aka "swan dive" B) falling backward C) spider man!! where u lower urself down upside down!!! so cool!!!!!!
the other high rope course was where u are pulled really up high in the air...unlatch urself....and swoosh! u swing all the way back...then swing to the front.... with just a rope attached to u...
Mr. Anderson, the middle sch teacher, was a hot topic among the girls ~ HAHA
that night~ we had a camp fire...lots of mosquitoes..... made smores.. touching speeches...
went back to the lodge... talked on cell phone...but HORRIBLE reception.. attempted to sleep...but it was SOOOO loud in the room...and REALLY hot ... with mosquitoes...and just...well...horrible...didn't sleep too well
omg....then the next day....that's when things got out of control....
we played group games... like the wizards, the elves, and the giants..... mmm ....the dragon game where u try to get the tail of another team ( we won!!!! :D) ...and we also did the catapillar...which was GROSSSSSS ....cus we were all sweaty from all the running under the sun...and had to LAY ON THE GRASS!!!! and the whole entire team had to roll over everyone..one by one....( we also won this game!!!!! haha) vy uncomfrotable....
before this game...we played passing the tennis ball...cept we weren't allow to use our hands........... the tennis ball had to be under our chins the whole time when we recieve or pass..... =.= '' and i had a guy in front of me and that really loud eighth grader boy behind me..... it looked like we were necking each other cus the guy in front of me was a head taller than me...so he had to lean down for me to get the ball from him..... haha~ so embrassing but fun! ......i had on a tank top !!!!=.= and when that little eight grader boy tried to get the ball from me since he is so much shorter than me...the ball rolled down to the top edge of my tank top....... but we coudn't come apart cus then the ball would fall and we would have to start over again!!! and then he had to grab the ball under his chin ....so his face was like...in my chest.. =.='' same thing happened when they passed the ball back and the guy that was in front of me had to take the ball from me...but he was cuter~ hhaaha ~ jk jk ... well...he was at least calmer than that little eight grader.... it was just so funny to watch ! ~ i NEVER drop the ball once!!!!! :D (and we won that game too) GREAT teamwork!!!
had a lot of junk food this weekend... ^^'
got a really good tan!! ..but can't wear tank tops now ...cus I have really bad mosquito bites on my shoulders >< and i have really bad reactions to them....
and my shoulders are so sore....hurts to even move my elbow cus where that lady gave me a shot on Wed for the bone scan...there is a bruise forming there cus she doesn't know how to give shots! vy painful putting on my backpack today....it hurts to even touch my shoulders...
* so much homework..!!
*sniff* screwed up on my chem test today... i'd be happy with a 88.... actually i won't...but still..i'd be OKAY ...with a 88...byebye 100 average...
