I will revolt if the draft is reinstated. I hate the idea of being forced to kill another. I cannot say I approve of the fact that America's poor are being more or less forced to join the army to go to college.
And yes, the searches and seizures are illegal. The government has made numerous searches based on shotty information and without a warrant. I read a story on the internet from a guy who's wife died and he was a college professor. The paramedics saw his lab equipment and other "suspicious" materials. His house was searched for 2 days and they found non harmful strains of bacteria one may find in a high school chemistry lab.
Nuclear is Nuclear is Nuclear. Nuclear technologies can lead to nuclear warheads. I think nuclear power is great. But it all seems so underhanded to me.

THAT is what i have to say to the patriot act. If we want to feel safer by letting the government become big brother, I no longer wish to be "free" by America's new standards. America is no longer the freeist country in the world. There is no such thing as free. Granted we have it great. I've been in a very pissed political mood so dont take my rebuttle personally.
