Chris on Live Journal?

Hi everyone!

Well I guess this is just another random site to blog down my thoughts and that I will do. This post will be very God-centred just because God has always been such a huge part of my life. I have to say that this past week God has done some amazing things in my life and has just changed my perspective on my life in general and the way that I have been living. Just this past weekend, I went on a Christian camp with Student Life, the Christian group I am involved with on campus at Sydney Uni. I have to say that I just find it amazing how being in close proximity with other Christians can really boost your faith in times when your faith may is down more than it usually is. That kind of love you feel from these people really does perform miracles and listening to God's Word from people around me really did inspire me greatly.

I guess it also helps that this past week or so that I have been reading a lot of Christian books such as Every Young Man's Battle and C.S. Lewis' Pilgrim's Regress. Both books are books I highly recommend particularly the second book as it explains part of how C.S. Lewis himself became so strong in his Christian faith.

Other than that, I have been busy with uni work (got 3 mid-semester exams coming up) and also just had an interview with Ernst & Young. I'll admit that it was very nerve-wracking sitting in the lounge waiting to be interviewed and God knows how this will turn out but I am just so grateful that I even had the opportunity to be interviewed by the company in the first place. If I happen to get the job, its an added bonus but if not, I will still look at this as a great chance for me to look at what Ernst & Young does and what it really looks like inside the huge 50-floor building it occupies (its intimidating looking at it from the outside) and got to see what kind of questions are asked in job interviews.

I guess I'll stop rambling now. Thanks to those who have read this and I hopefully will see you guys around at some point....
