....yes, I am still alive and am thankful for it. I just wish life would slow down just a little, tiny bit though.
I sit here at this point in time aiming to complete a 3000 word assignment diagnosing the state of the accounting profession. I also sit here at this point in time thinking about the end of uni and the fact that I will either have to: (a) stay at E&Y preparing 6-7 tax returns every day (of which most are never complete 'cause people being people will always leave a comment but provide no info for their comment in the info they provide to us) and drafting up emails to clients regarding their various tax issues, or alternatively (b) go look for a new job and stay unemployed until 30.
Isn't it great how I always seems to manage to procrastinate at the wrong time? It never ceases to amaze me.
Anyway, just a quick few words now (I know I've said more than "a quick few words" already...whoops, done it again). Michael is down here in Sydney and its great to have the full family again after 5 years. Of course its a hell lot more distracting when he is around and I need to complete work but its definitely worth it. And long live inflatable penguins (it started off as a work joke but then became a reality when a co-worker, of whom shall be unnamed, decided to buy one and leave it at random places at work....very reminiscent of an Adam Sandler film by the name of Billy Madison)!
Ah well, enough rambling. Better get back to work.
