time flies...
i'm quite disappointed that today was the last day of creative writing. aside from the fact that i really shouldn't spend so much time on it considering what i want to do for the rest of my life...i've become very attached to that class. i had no idea that i could write poetry until the beginning of this year, and it's been a truly rewarding revelation. i even did the poetry out loud thing the other night. jackson won of course, but i did it anyway.
in other news, the Mikado's coming up, and everyone's excited i guess. i'm not so sure anymore. granted, i really want to do a musical and i love theatre to death. but it's creating so much animosity between people that, as far as i know, are normally completely civil to each other. maybe i'm just starting to take notice because i'm leaving.
and i have a five day vacation in which i need to hammer into my SRP and the election project. uggabuggaboo. i'd also like to practice my district jazz band music and regional choir music. after that, i hope to finally pick an audition piece for the Mikado. i'm torn between a lower piece, which would be fitting for Katisha, or a really high piece, which would be more like Yum Yum.
i am going to miss this place...
