So yeah, I saw Memoirs of a Geisha. I can't believe it actually came, because that usually just doesn't happen. Anyways, I loved it like, this much *stretches* and I can't wait to see it again. I suggest to everyone that they read the book. Then watch the movie. Actually, it doesn't matter the order.. it's just easier to read the book first or else you won't feel like reading it after and it really is very good. I love rambling.
I tried to do a minimalistic piece in my sketchbook today for "Outbreak". It looks like I just took 5 minutes to do the entire thing, but I still really like it. And I don't care if she gives me a 6. Actually, that's pushing it. I won't get mad if she gives me 7, but anything lower and I might be a tad hurt. I colored it and everything. My "Hope" is brutal though.. It took a long time, but I really don't like the outcome.
I had to present my nomination speech today in English nominating Dr. Phil for the "Honorary Soul Saver Award 2006". It went well; I'm pleased.
My love muffin (hahaha) and I had our 21-month anni yesterday.. God that's so long. Don't know how I put up with the kid. <3 Kidding. But now he's sick.. and I have no way to take care of him :(. But if he's not at school tomorrow I'm going to bring him soup for lunch.. and Halls 'cause he has none. And maybe make him a card.
We're making marienettes (butchered the spelling on that one or what?) in Art 30.. We're doing the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe to symbolize the passion.. I'm making Lucy :). I'm really excited because it's so different.
Speaking of making a difference, I signed up for Car Maintenence for Make a Difference Day.. Anyone else with me?
I'm also teaching a sculpting class on February 2 at Sunningdale.. I'm pumped; it'll be so much fun. All I have to do is round up some supplies.. Donations would be wonderful <3. Anything like old combs, toothbrushes, toothpicks, marker lids, etc. Anything that makes a texture. I'd be foreverly grateful! Is anybody else teaching classes?
