Paul on things

Paul on the WWE currently
It was four years ago when the shows were split so more wrestlers can be seen on each show. I'm still waiting for that to happen. We STILL see the same people day in and day out each and every damn week.

Paul on big money TV
Big money TV shows are no new thing. There was a TV show back in the 80's called "The $1,000,000 Chance of a Lifetime" with that very amount of money as a payout (it was won six times), but these days, you cannot watch primetime TV without running into a show with a payout in the 6+ digit range.

It's not just either. It's reality shows too. Most reality shows have grand prizes of at LEAST half a million dollars. And the "realty" part of those shows will not happen to most of us anyway.

Paul on Drew's PiR
Like him or not, I think Drew Carey is doing a damn good job hosting The Price is Right. Viewing might be a tad down, but not enough to warrant cancellatiom of the show. Drew has added very cool twists that make the show his own, which is what the World's Greatest Master of Ceremonies wanted him to do anyway.

Truth be told, he does do a couple of annoying things. I would like to see a playing of Double Prices without Drew saying to the player "Hold my hand. Say 'Alakazam.'" I could also do without Drew reminding the home viewers of the "strategizing" done in Contestant's Row when someone bids 41 more than the person before him.

Paul on D&D 4th Edition
So far, I see no reason why NOT to change to 4th Edition. I'll still play 3rd, but I have an open enough mind to play two editions at once.
