Night Out

Just got back in from seeing The Fast and the Furious, Tokyo Drift with Eva and Julie a few minutes ago. ^_^ When Eva asked me to go see it with them, I thought it would just be a whatever movie that you go to see once and then shrug off, but actually it was really good. Plot holes were there once or twice, yes; the story moved rather quickly at certain parts, also yes, but overall I liked it! It was a really fun movie to go see with friends, and despite having a beginning that makes you wonder just how the story ends up in Japan at all, it really gets you wrapped up in the story. Eva says that she was heartbroken when Han died (oh yeah...spoiler right there, heh heh). And afterward, we even figured out where he comes from! He says that Japan is "his Mexico" when he was referring to American western movies where the heroic cowboy always heads for the boarder. It means that he's not from Japan!! He's from Korea, which is north of Japan, thus making it the equivalent of Mexico! We figured it out, we're smart~~HAHAHAHA!!!

Afterward, we walked around. Discovered that our town has no nightlife whatsoever, and then went out to eat dinner at P.F. Chang's. Their Mongolian Beef was to die for. ^_^ Somehow we ended up ordering a lot of food, but I think that I probably inhaled more of the beef than anyone else at the table. It was just tasty. And the Singapore Street Noodles that we ordered to go with it were just spicy enough (Julie told me that they tasted a lot like curry~~if that's true, then maybe I would like Japanese food more than I thought).

Yep, so tonight was a good night. I haven't gotten to go out and just see a movie and relax in a long time, especially with Eva. And never with Julie. It makes me sad to think that she'll be going away from school next year. Aw...
