I said I'd be "back" on Saturday...
So here I am... although I still have more to do to get ready for Monday. Aaaaaaaah! **slight freak-out**
Ummmm.... I can't remember everything I wanted to write about. I can only remember a couple of things.
More of My Therapist, Music and Me (it's going to become a serial!):
I was telling her that I'd created a playlist of songs that summed up high school, and that I was creating one that was supposed to represent what I wish would be the soundtrack to my time in college. I told her that it was a lot harder compiling a list of songs I don't have a connection to [yet] (obviously), but that when I first had the idea of making the list, "Perfect Day" by Lou Reed immediately came to mind because of the title. And it turns out that my therapist listens to Lou Reed! Janet, I always thought you were cool, but you have just exponentially increased your coolness! But how does she not remember glam then? lol. Actually, I think know why. I don't think she's really, or ever was, the type. The music nerd/rock scene type.
I bought my textbooks a couple days ago, and the first thing I did was flip to the back (chronologically more recent) of my Music History book, and what's the first name I spot? Actually, the first I spotted was Scott Joplin; I <3 ragtime. But the second I spotted was Philip Glass! Aaaah! Bowie's almost in my textbook. lol
Fuck. I actually had some introspective-ish things to write about, but I can't remember them.
Just watch. I'm going to remember them about 10 minutes after I hit "post".
