is so bizarre.
all the people who didn't go away to college are still *so* high school.
i don't even know how to explain it.
but like...
there's so much that happens when you move out & go to college.
so many different experiences.
life is just 100% different than it was at home.
and people who didn't leave, don't get that.
i absolutely hate when someone asks me, "so what have you been up to?"
because the answer "school and work" doesn't even cover it.
umm, i have an apartment. i live with 4 other people, boys AND girls.
i happily ride the bus everywhere.
i don't have to worry about a designated driver, or drunk driving.
i walk from my apartment to the bus, and from the bus to the party, and back again to get home.
i go spelunking (under ground cave exploring)
i hike almost on a daily basis.
i enjoy frolicking through the golden meadow,
exploring the mossy green forest.
fundraising for the grateful dead archive that was donated to the library.
planning and leading tours for freshman, creating and decorating dances and events on campus.
i come home for holidays, summer, and raves ONLY.
i visit san francisco whenever.
i do what i want, when i want to.
and that kind of life just isn't possible in riverside.
