So some random items:

1) So now I have two choral rehearsals per week. As many of you know I'm a member of the NY Choral Society and we've started up in preparations for the December Carnegie Hall concert (and other events). I also just auditioned for and found out this morning that I've been invited into the Chamber Singers (small group) for the NY Choral Society as well. YAY!

For those interested here are this "term's" concerts...if you are interested in tickets to the Carnegie Hall concert, let me know directly. 1) I have a quota to sell and 2) They are discounted if you buy them through me! Those we'll start selling very soon. Chamber Singers, let me know and I'll remind you when the tickets are available.

NY Choral Society
Joyful Noise
December 9, 2009
Carnegie Hall 8pm
Program:
Alleluia - Randall-Thompson
Vivialdi's Gloria
"Hallelujah! Amen" from Handel's Judas Maccabaeus
Harmoniemesse - Haydn

I think we might also be doing the "Joyful Hallelujah" as well, but as you can see it's a themed concert of really good choral works with a holiday feel.

NYCS Chamber Singers:
November 12th - St. Joe's Church (Sixth Avenue in Greenwich Village)
Program: TBA

Also congrats to all of you that put together the NYRF this season. There was some really great stuff this summer. I was happy to see you had such glorious weather to close with!

See those of you that are going in MD for Pirate Invasion weekend on Saturday!!
