I'm so pleased! I let my friend read some of my D/Hr fic and she gave it her approval. Haha! She only read a snippet of it (that's all I had on me at the time), but she said she liked it. ^^ I've gotta start writing some more. I'm getting into it! I'm just too chicken shit to actually post it anywhere for other people to read it.. lol!
Anyway, I've got this erm, super playlist (211 songs -- over 16 hours) and it's got my favourites (The Gathering: the songs Gabi sent me; Evanescence: all of their songs; Lacuna Coil: all but the first EP; Within Temptation: all of their songs; Tristania: Beyond the Veil & World of Glass; Leaves' Eyes: all their songs; Liv Kristine: all her stuff) and despite having sooo many songs, in the last two hours, I've only been hearing Evanescence, The Gathering and Tristania. It's on shuffle! So shuffle the damn playlist! Maybe I should manually mix them up.. but that would just be too much effort. ;)
My friend was trying to get me into Postal Service. I listened to it and it was like.. erm, how to describe it? Like 80s techno-pop-rock... lol! It was different, I'll give them that. But y'know.. not my cup of tea. If I'm gonna listen to pop, it'd be Sarah McLachlan or Michelle Branch type of pop. Or Backstreet Boys. Oh yeah, you read right. The only male pop I'll ever listen to! It's cheesy, frowned upon by the rock/metal/rap communities, but you know what? Fuck them. I like my variety.
