An important step forward
Finally, I've found some direction as far as my future is concerned.
...All it took was realizing I didn't know the answers, and reaching out for help. Always hearing them say, "If you ever need help or advice, just call," but never taking anyone up on it has been a flaw of mine for forever. This has been an important step in the right direction. I don't know what I would've done without Aunt Tracy.
And after all that time I spent languishing over whether Paul would forgive me or not, he called. If I hadn't sent that e-mail to apologize for letting him down, maybe he wouldn't have... and I wouldn't have done that if I hadn't asked mom for advice. Seems like there's some value to this wisdom thing.
