Live from Alberta Beach
I miss Brandon.
I miss home.
I've had enough of Alberta.
I only have so much patience ....
Less than 40 hrs till I walk in my front door.
What did we do here:
Went to IKEA
Went to West Edmonton Mall
Went to the Zoo
Went to Chuckie Cheese
Went Shopping
Went to Noah's 1st Movie ~ Ratatouille :D
Impressive....
I've read quite a bit this vacation.
The last book I read: Rich Dad Poor Dad
by Robert T. Kiyosaki
Noah & I are even closer now, seems kind-of odd seeing as we are here to see his father & his family. It's funny how different each relationship is. We understand each other and I think in a way we are each other's home base. Things get crazy ...connect....things are great....connect....a hurt....connect...something funny...connect. lol. Safe.
Everything....well most things ;) are looking alot clearer now. Like the fog has lifted.
Its been nice to kind of step back and evaluate. I feel fresh.
Things I have learned, discovered or just thought about:
#1 I absolutely love myself!
#2 I am truly blessed
#3 I am in the meantime, it's mine and I am wonderful =)
#4 I have the BEST son in the world :D
#6 I will find a babysitter and make adult time for ME! Gym I think. SWEAT!
#7 I will pay myself first and start putting more than my savings & RRSP away.
#8 I am an amazing mom!
#9 I have never ever been given more than I can handle. I am a strong woman.
#10 I will be an awesome power engineer!
#11 I can do anything I set my mind to.....and I prove it daily.
#12 I want to learn more about investing.
#13 I have some pretty amazing friends =)
#14 I have some pretty amazing family members =)
#15 I deserve more! :D
#16 I survived the Drop of Doom, smiled all the way! (Kind of a frozen smile.)
#17 I will never go on the swings again. Super scary as an adult!
#18 I learned how to text msg =) Have had lots of practice now
#19 I have decided that I never want to live in a big growing city :S
#20 I need to lighten up sometimes =)...go where the wind takes me and quit analyzing. Let go!
#21 I am working on me. Surrendering, trusting, you cannot lose what is meant for you.
#22 I love my bed! I miss my blankets.
#23 I think Ratatouille is my all-time favorite kids movie!
