I prepared a birthday entry for Kame few days ago, but when I posted it, it was gone, so I just deleted it. I was too tired to retype so there goes the entry. I was talking about how slashable Kame is. I mean, he's the only J.E. idol that I can really slash with almost all of the KA-TUN members, and other J.E. idols like Ryo ( yes even Ryo, no matter how unimaginable that is) and even Nino ( because the latter kept on playfully harassing Kame during the Best Artist Awards last year).
With incessant encouragement from
gypsyjem I watched the first up until sixth episode of 1 Pound no Fukuin. My copy is courtesy of
dirtypopgurl . I was really excited when this dorama was announced, frankly speaking after watching the intial previews for the initial episodes, I sorta lost interest. Probably one reason is that I have some misgivings about Kame's leading lady. I was worried that they might not click as a couple on a TV drama. I was afraid that this couple might suffer the same fate of Takuya Kimura and Koyuki in Engine. Anyway, one friend of mine even sent me an sms message that allegedly there was some posts at the BBS(?) thread, and there's this post about fans not liking his leading lady(?), and sorta blaming the ratings due to lack of chemistry among the two(?). But, after watching it, I was surprised that they could actually pull it off as a couple. There were some scenes that Misa actually made me laugh, and Kame is so adorably cute as an inlove striving boxer. I particulary like the "choco, choco, choco" episode and everytime Kame hides himself inside a pile of dried leaves.
I guess NEWS fans by now have watched the NEWS performance at Music Station. I was enjoying the performance until it started to shower inside the studio. LOLLLL It really totally ruined the whole performance. Poor Yamapi, he looked he had a hard time performing because he was soaking wet! All the water went to his face! Just whose idea was the shower thing?!
I'm watching some DBSK/Tohoshinki clips. When they had their debut in 2004 with their song HUG, I was not into them because I thought they looked like anime characters. I'm not into anime at the time. My sister told that I was turned off by a Rain/Bi imitation of DBSK. She said I found it rude then. OMG, I can't believe I was really childish then. *LOL* Anyway, last November when they performed at Music Station with Koda Kumi, I was surprised to see how they improved in their looks. They have grown and became more handsome men. After watching more clips, I noticed that they've become better singers as well. They were good before but they are even better now. This is one of my favorite performance from their recent concert in Japan,
check this out. Very touching.
EDIT: Okay before Philippines might go crazy over BYJ's Legend because it will start soon airing on GMA-7, I'd like to take a claim on Lee Philip as one of his first fan in the country. LOLLLL Anyway, here's a clip of his
GUESS photoshoot. I dunno but I really find it funny when the make-up artist started powdering his stomach/abs. It reminds me how my aunts powder their baby's stomach. *LOL*
