cosplay boot ramblings
Am once again checking eBay for boots. Boots have definitely been the challenge so far.
ETA: After some thought, decided not to go for the boots under the cut. I could get more accurate (and cheaper) buying a pair without a buckle at a thrift store and sewing a belt on. If I'm going to pay more, it should be for just the right boots.
I'm contemplating these:

They're brown, but I can use leather paint on them the same as I plan to on the jacket, or so I assume.
My reservation is that the buckle is too close to the top of the boot. For reference:

On the upside, they have chunky heels and they're cheap (so far). Even with the shipping, they're a little more than half the price of boots I've found that are perfect.
