(no subject)
i found a fun little quiz... go to http://www.chameleonadvertising.com and click the color quiz link. i figured them out pretty easily, but maybe it's b/c i've had to study color in school. my dad had a hard time w/ it, haha. i dunno, but i had fun w/ it.
so, my stupid folding machine at work is either gonna cost me my job, or make me have a stoke. a heidleberg rep came in to examine the machine and teach the entire art dept how to use it on monday. he left, and well all felt much more confident. today, we switched paper, and now the machine is back to being fucked up. i feel like i have the best understanding of the machine, but i can't figure out what's going wrong. it's extremely frustrating. b/c i'm insane, i actually took some of the messed up ad slicks home to re-fold.
on a complete tangent, i find myself adding re to words, and i have no idea if i'm making up the words or not. re-fold? refold? redraw? i need retake (re-take????) an english course, apparently.
anyway... i know you don't know what ad slicks are, and i don't know how to describe them... they're just another informative sheet that goes in the mailing. so yeah. we have all the ad slicks folded now, but we still need to finish the letters and reply forms. that's about 25,000 pieces of paper that need to be folded. blah... as soon as this job is finished, i'm calling my chiropractor.
i'm being forced to take a shower now, b/c my mom wants to run the dishwasher and she apparently has to do it RIGHT AWAY! so yeah, gotta get the hot water while it lasts...
