The seal that I put on the kyuubi's chakra seems to be sufficient to allow the poison's effect to damage his body, though there's no way of knowing how long until Arashi discovers the seal and takes measures to seek to supplant it. I highly doubt he will be able to, but that is still a complication that should be avoided if possible.
