I don't know what's wrong lately, but something feels off. I haven't been able to sleep the night through, and I get the feeling that my father hasn't called me back because he and my Uncle are fighting again. I've left three messages for him but I get nothing in return. It happens every year around this time, they've never agreed when it comes to my mother or me, hopefully they'll be fine come September.
So I find myself awake, again, some warm sake and a lovely view of the ocean as my company. Whenever I do try and fall asleep I just end up either staring at the ceiling or having wretched dreams. If anyone else is having trouble sleeping and wants to maybe come visit I have a feeling that I'll be up and alert. I've only had one drink, so I'm not utterly pissed yet.
This song is playing on repeat from my computer, and if I'm lucky the alcohol will kick in sometime soon and I'll be able to sleep again without nightmares.
