I love when everything seems to fall into place perfectly, and a random idea that comes to me during an epic plane jaunt becomes lauded as one of the better modern teaching ideas this side of the country by the upper brass of the University. Also, I love when someone proves they harbor a complete lack of empathy for others, even when presented

If Mustang was the one in need of an office, I would think that he would be more then happy to do the work to regain his precious privacy.

As I told him you two can sort it out yourselves, I just need to get my things situated in the new place and then consider me gone.

It was merely a statement. Unlike others, I don't go whining to you to fix things. I'm just confused as to why exactly you're the one moving offices, when it should one or the other who actually the ones having the issue. You moving doesn't solve the issue if there is already another office at the ready.

I figured as much, but just saying. It's because I'm not the one setting up ink bombs, nice one by the way, or complaining, so Bradley figured since I asked to be re-assigned a different office would do just as well.

You've had plenty of opportunities to bring it up before. It's only brought to my attention now when it's displacing someone who isn't even involved in this between you and I.

You certainly weren't voicing the fact that there was an empty office sitting around, even if it was serving as a shrine to this Hughes that meant so much to you guys. Did you think that perhaps if this was mentioned in the beginning, just imagine how much of this could have been avoided?

I hate to be the one to break it to you, but you're not the one who decides what I deserve. And it wasn't so much as to what I deserved, but what I needed to do my job properly. Something you sure as hell were not, and still are not concerned with.

I don't want the place, you're welcome to it. I don't want your precinct, I don't want your damned position. I didn't want to be here in the first damned place. I know what I need to be able to do my job to it's fullest extent. I took a gamble and assumed that I couldn't trust that you would be of assistance in getting what I needed and it appears that I was correct in my assumption. I was willing to reach some sort of compromise, you didn't want to hear anything of it. So I took my cues from there.
I've taken what I needed and nothing more.

...seriously, I'm starting to feel like a mother must feel when two of her precious rugrats start fighting in earnest. Can you both chill out for one day, please? I really will take you for ice cream, or drinks, or something, just give me one day's worth of peace.
It is kind of interesting watching you two though, if only I had popcorn...

But right now, there is nothing on this planet that will suffice as bribe enough to keep me in the same building as him.

That's fine, can we still go get ice cream though? I have a craving for a huge bowl of fudge ripple and don't want to look like a porker eating alone.
