I can try to visit around the New Year, if you like. Before then, I have... my own family, to spend some time with. That's what Christmas was, for us-- a time to be together with friends, family, and loved ones. It's up to me to keep that sort of thing alive, now. But I shouldn't be gone much after the holiday, I think.
I completely understand, darling. Whenever you would like to drop by, you certainly may. After all, I would like to think of you as part of ours, you know.
