HetaPWI Update: 19/09/2012
Hello all~
Due to the length of the original journal, I will begin posting updates in new entries and I won't be updating that one with this stuff anymore. Unless it's purely to include starting information, introductory information, or joining/character information - Then I will update it for those purposes.
So yeah, I'm in the process of removing my updates on that journal and adding them to the journals with their dates on (unless I didn't post a separate journal on that date, then I just lumped the update on the closest journal following).
I hope shortening the original post will make it easier to read. I have an awful tendency to write too much...
I'm thinking of organising my journal into sections, since I tackle slightly different topics in it... I just have no idea how to sort it. XD
The poll is still in effect, so far Fantasy AU seems to be the popular choice~
Unfortunately I didn't take too many screenshots during this session, but here's a few I did take~
So, as per usual, Alfred was being a little shit so Arthur headed over to meet Gilbert at the City of the Lost, and sat down near the elder moodily because Alfred's shit is just... constant.
Aaaand because I completed 200 quests, I received a reward! Only... it was very unfashionable and downright embarrassing. :/ I tried it on but quickly took it off (only putting it back on again to show it to Gil but yeah)
Burn it.
And soon after Alfred left (in a moody/sulky huff), Arthur and Gilbert had their usual bonding session during their quest~ I think there were some breakthroughs today, but these serious/emotional conversations didn't start until Alfred started meddling with their 'relationship', and I think it's adding a lot of unnecessary weight and unspoken tension between Gilbert and Arthur. I know Arthur's beginning to look at Gilbert in that way whilst the guy's back turned, maybe that's one of those 'unspoken things'~?
Anyway, so one of the things they established is that they don't plan to end whatever they have. Aww~
Their conversation went something like this:
Gilbert: It's fine, Arthur. It's not your fault.
Arthur: It is... I shouldn't have relayed the things he said to me to you.
Gilbert: And catch me completely off guard when it's brought up? No, you did it because you thought it was best.
Arthur: I-I don't know why I did, after all, he did say this is strictly between me and him. /sigh No. I did it because I was seeking comfort.
Gilbert: Between you two? When he keeps bringing my name up? There's nothing wrong with that. Everyone wants comfort, it's natural.
Arthur: Well, he said it's between us because he wants it to be... just us. I was silly going to you or comfort! I should deal with this on my own, after all, it's what I'm used to.
Gilbert: Bullshit. Don't just take whatever he says and go with it! You must have your own opinion on the matter and all!
Arthur: Of course I don't agree with him, Gilbert. I told him earlier, you were there.
Gilbert: Don't lie to me! Don't talk as if you're the only one who did things alone!
Arthur: I'm not lying! I... hold on, you?
Gilbert: Well, I never exactly got on with most people too.
Arthur: I'm... I'm sorry. I didn't know, you were always so... confident.
Gilbert: I-I mean, I'm better than them so I don't need them but it can be challenging sometimes.
Arthur: Yeah...
Gilbert: ... It's easier to pretend.
Arthur: Yeah. W-Well, I mean... you don't have to be like that anymore, I'm here now of course.
Gilbert: Ja, I know... more like I'm here for you because I'm that great! K-Kesese...
Arthur: ... That brings me to something else I've been sitting on.
Yes, this time I print screened our conversation. vuv I keep forgetting sections of it so I've taken up to print screening parts I think might be important developments~ > u>
Well, the conversation does continue but it gets a lot deeper and more serious that what I've already shared, Arthur confesses that he's been worrying over something for a while and Gilbert's secret attempt at soloing a boss worsened Arthur's suspicions.
Arthur: I-I mean, I've been thinking about this for a long time now and I'm particularly wondering about it seeing how I'm considerably weak and you often have to aid me and... well, I just wanted to know if you'll always stand by me.
Gilbert: ...
Arthur: B-Because I was just... you know, how useless weak little me is... and you're already so strong, so... y-you don't really need me, do you?
Gilbert: W-Well, it's not like you're that weak! You can hit harder than me! Besides, I'd probably die much more if you're not reminding me to be careful!
Arthur: But you're often risking yourself to save me, and...
Gilbert: I just... look, Arthur. I just... maybe I just enjoy your company and...
Arthur: I-I really, really enjoy this.
Gilbert: O-Oh...
Arthur: But...
Gilbert: Nein, stop it!
Arthur: Because of that, I'm scared... it never lasts, does it? Happiness. I'm scared of liking this and being happy because it'll inevitably end, it always does.
Gilbert: It's much more awesome having you beside me. Feels... nice. I can't say, I'm not... very experienced in deep relationships.
Arthur: All I can say is... I'm always the one people turn their back on. Getting left in the gutter with my heart wrenched out and all there is is the pain. It's worse than any knife wound or burn, it's just agonising. And I never want to feel it ever again.
Gilbert: I don't know, Arthur. I can't say I understand. I like fightings and wars... it's like I'm born for that so I've never really bothered before... with anything like this...
Arthur: I did. I had it all but then it was pulled out from right underneath my nose, and I suddenly had nothing.
Gilbert: Hey, but I tell you this. If there is one thing I do, it is to see it through a bitter end. What I'm built for, really. So... I'm not forcing you to do anything, it's up to you.
Arthur: That's reassuring. I don't want this to end.
Gilbert: Well... as I always say, I'm here.
Arthur: It has always been our decision.
Gilbert: Ja, it has.
v u v Breakthrough~ All the fluff! I'm probably the gayest guy ever, srs.
So Alfred's attempts at splitting them apart is only tugging them closer. Oh dear~
Oh! And I took a printscreen of Prussia dancing, and myself doing capoeira in pink clothes, but I can't find it! D: It's not there So I'm totally going to ask you to do it again because it was cute!
But Arthur found a ring that was useless to him (as a Wizard) and ended up giving it to Prussia, because Prussia has a use for it (as some type of Warrior ;3 /shot)~
So, yeah. Gilbert's wearing a ring Arthur gave him. >3
If you like it then you should've put a ring on it~
Arthur: S-So... are you using that ring I gave you?
Gilbert: Of course I am~
Arthur: /splutters W-Well!... J-Jolly good then...
Gilbert: All embarrassed, Princess~?
Arthur: Well, good to know it's useful... a-and I'm not! I just... well, never you mind. I'm pleased.

Anyway, despite Japan being online now I think I'm going to head off to bed because I have a headache. I was going to try and boost Ivan's level, but yea. It was a fun session today with Alfred and Gilbert, I hope to catch Latvia (and hopefully others!) tomorrow.
