(no subject)
I'm so glad that now everyone is almost as lame as I am. Before I ever write an entry, I check my friends page to see what they're up to. Today, however, there was but one (1) entry in my friends page. Granted, I only have a select three (I think) selected as friends--people I actually know--but there was a time when I could not finish reading this page in the time I had allotted and I resorted to skimming just to get through.
Still, as I relish sharing with my friends the same lack of time/internet access with others I am saddened that the pages of your diaries are now closed to me. So I open mine.
I entered Sophie into a "Cutest Diaper Service Baby" contest in hopes of winning some free weeks of diaper service and in order to show off her cute smile. Go to this site to vote on the cutest baby www.diapernet.com. They will be posted on Monday morning.
What you can't see from the picture there is how fun Sophie is. She knows hand/mouth signs for so many words now. There is hat (of course), hair, diaper/diaper change, book, baby, fish, frog, bunny, all done, daddy, food/eat, drink, flower and more. She is walking--not trucking all around the house, but she does not hesitate to walk from one person to another. Or for example, we were at a wedding yesterday and my mom and her husband were seated across the aisle from us. In the middle of the ceremony Sophie decided she wanted to go see Grandma (Nanu) and she sidled past the two people in our row and toddled across the aisle to my mom and Patrick. It was really cute...
So anyway, that got Shamus and I talking about our own wedding again, which is coming up frighteningly soon. And we tinkered with our invitation design and talked about the ceremony and vows. Anybody want to come to a work party to get my mom's yard, i.e. the wedding site, in order?? Just a thought.
I hope you all write soon! Or better yet, call me. Eilishdyani, I called you last week to try to visit, but you never called me back. Maybe I can convince photogrrrl to try again with me on Wednesday. Let me know...
