Arctic Monkeys have a long, wonderful history of covering songs- ridiculous, strange, perfect songs that, mostly, they make work with a grain of salt.

This one is probably my favorite, and also the most legitimate. It's a cover of a "Red Right Hand" by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds

This one runs a close second. It's a cover of "Katy on a Mission" by Katy B. Yeah, you read that right.

Running the gamete of ridiculous, we have "Love Machine" by Girls Aloud.

They do sweet and tender doo-wop ballads as well. Cover of "Baby, I'm Yours," originally by Barbara Lewis.

Ehhhh, not as good as the original. Sorry Monkeys. "You Know I'm No Good," by Amy Winehouse.

Sometimes, they even do a Bond. Diamonds Are Forever by Shirley Bassey. Includes Alex Turner singing the words "they are all I need to please me/they can stimulate and tease me."
