Its no longer a dream
So this weekend I went ahead and did it. My xmas gift to myself.
Two ferrets, Buster, a 4 year old Male sable, and Chubs, a year and a half female sable. Sometimes hard to tell em apart but all in all, Chubs isnt called Chubs for nuttin. She is young enough however that I may give her a more... dignified name. Im still searching.
HOFA (heart of Ohio Ferret association) IS GREAT. really. I mean that wholeheartedly. With a pretty standard Adoption fee, they were already had all their shots, and fixed (thank god i cant take babies :p) i also got a Cage (big one, 2.5 feet by 4 feet by 4.5 feet) for a small donation, and a ton of hammocks and toys. They also hooked me up for about 75 bucks all the food and bowls and treats and whatnot. The people there are very fanatic about their ferrets and like adding new people to the mix. I cant wait to bring em back to show everyone :)
Right now the two of them are wondering around my room, playing with one another and me. well wandering around my extra room. the one I do all my modeling in. Its not truly ferret proofed yet - the old dresser is really bad they could easily crawl up in it. so im sitting with my laptop next to it and snagging them every time they go to near. other than that they are out having a good time.
So... I will post pics once I get the chance. Till then, any input fo rnames for the chubby one?
