I am officially HIV and hepatitis free!!! Awesomeness. I still have to go back for retesting in January, but it's still good news.
Continuing the good news trend, a few days ago I stopped taking a herbal medication that I've been using for a while, and the reflux is better. It's still there, but I'm finally in the mood to eat, just in time for Thanksgiving. It's going to be a very Chinese Thanksgiving in this dorm, I guess. I'm ordering some food for tonight and tomorrow. But back to the herbal thing, that's so weird! I had already reduced the dose because it was interfering with something else that I'm on, and now I find out that it's also behind weird reflux? Craziness.
Speaking of weird interactions, I'm inclined to believe that Tresemme shampoo and conditioner are ruining my hair. I started using it a few months ago and now my hair is all wonky and shedding all over the goddamned place. I thought it was just me, but maybe it really is the Tresemme. I'll switch shampoos this weekend and see what happens.
Oh yeah, the prank! I got into lab late Monday evening, but apparently the entire time I was gone, everyone kept thinking that Kristina did it. And of course, Kristina knew it was me because I mentioned doing something like that last Friday. So she's protesting her innocence and saying that *I* did it, and NO ONE believes her! It was hilarious. When I got in, everyone kept giving me looks and coming up to me one by one to ask if I really did it. Tom actually verbalized what I was thinking: I could totally get away with murder! I'm amused that apparently I come off as a goody two shoes to *everyone.* I can use it to my advantage, I suppose. People keep apologizing if they cuss in front of me, too, which is funny. And kind of weird.
Yeah, we lost the game. Apparently the game was EXTREMELY sad. This institution is so fucking gay. Ivy League football is gay enough, but losing every single game? How sad is that? You'd think New Haven would have toughened up and ghettoized our team, but apparently not. We need more black people. There are NO black people at Yale! Seriously! I thought there were no blacks at Duke, but that was nothing compared to here!
