Will it ever stop to feel weird?
Is what I think every time I put on my trench coat (four years old now - I blame Casablanca).
Why, you might ask? Well, because I've finally watched Supernatural. (Yes, boys and girls! I am THIS behind when it comes to good TV.)
I guess I don't have to tell you that I loved it. And because of the trench coat comment, I guess I don't have to tell you at least one of my favourite characters. (I blame the voice, although the eyes are hypnotic.) Dean and The Music share the first place with him. Second on the list, sharing the place with Crowley, is Gabriel. Bobby gets third place to himself because Helen is dead.
Of course, being me, I've already came up with a story, and it's going to be my summer project.
TA-DAM! I present you with my big HP/SPN/GO crossover slashy fic!
It's going to definitely be a Snarry. Either an almost-there or just-barely-there kind of dynamics. I want them at a point where they already know there's something serious there, but still don't really know what to do with it. Smitten but snippy, I call it.
Apart from the boys, I think about playing with Ron, Hermione, George and possibly Ginny (but she might be just episodic). I was considering Minerva or Sybil, but in the end, decided against it.
GO is pretty obvious - Crowley and Aziraphale. Or rather Crowley/Aziraphale, but I want them established and non-graphic. Possibly, as close to the dynamic they had in the book. It was so delicious, I couldn't ever think of anything better. They'll have pretty big roles (I think). There will definitely be a mention of Adam and Them, but I'm not sure as to anybody else.
And finally, SPN. Decidedly a Dean/Cas, but I cannot decide on the resolution of this relationship now. They will both struggle with feelings, though. Beside them, Sam, Bobby and, of course, Gabriel. The typical bad guys - Lucy, Mikey, Raph, angels, demons, pagan gods and some ghosts for good measure. Oh, and of course, the worst of all - doushebag (Did I write that right?... Hm...) people.
The whole thing goes AU somewhere vaguely around the middle of 5.21. Abuse of angel lore, haunting, research and romance all around. Also staring - the Apocalypse, bad music and pop-culture references, hoge-poge magic theory and metaphysical sex.
Without getting into too much detail, that's about it. Anyone want to volounteer for beta? Comments and ideas appreciated as well.
