My poor birthday went down the drain. u.u And it didn't even happen yet.
I planned to go to a concert that features The Sounds and Shiny Toy Guns as an early birthday celebration. And honestly, that has to be the best combination of bands ever. But nobody can go with me because they're all leaving for places like MAINE and CONNECTICUT for THANKSGIVING!
Honestly... since when did MAINE and CONNECTICUT become Thanksgiving-centers? D:<
But then there's also Julia who can't go because her boy-toy's birthday is the same day as the concert. Bah. Boys suck. I can't believe I'm at the point where my friends are starting to abandon me for guys. Maybe I'm just selfish...
I want to draw a birthday pic for Rock Lee (and myself, duh &hearts). I hope my scanner works.
Anyway, in other news, I enjoyed the recent manga chapters of Naruto and Fullmetal Alchemist.
Naruto:
So, I guess that's it for Asuma. Funerals tend to be official. Damn, gonna miss the guy. I felt so bad for Kurenai... she looked so heartbroken. Why is Kishimoto continuing this canon-killing trend?
Team 10 is off to conquer the world! Go, go! I adore Ino, so I'm glad she's getting more time outside of her relationship with Sakura. I'm not quite sure why, but I think how Shikamaru's new likeness to Asuma is so cool. He picked up smoking! I mean, I don't want the boy to get cancer or anything, but smoking really seems like a suiting habit for Shikamaru.
Fullmetal Alchemist:
Major Armstrong's sister is PWN! Why are the series' blond females so vicious (and AWESOME)? Not that I'm complaining.
Is Kimberlee "Sloth"? Because I'm really confused. But, Christs sake, Sloth is scary! I love how manga!Sloth is so different from anime!Sloth. I don't think anyone expected either Sloths to turn out the way they do.
