Yesterday was a wacky day. I went to Lauren's funeral and had a good few cries (I'm not afraid of showing my emotions; It's good for me to let it all out). Many familiar people from the Pagan community showed their respects, and Frasier performed a moving ritual to help guide Lauren to the Summerlands. I never did believe in goodbyes, though. I can still feel her presence.
After that, I spent some time with my friend Sue while finding out when I'm working this week and looking into new places to live. She's quite the chatterbox, but then, I've always been a listener, so we have a good friendship going.
I had a meeting with my future roommates at 6, which wasn't all that productive, as a friend of ours came by to chat. I was a little annoyed, but then I'm in need of a place to live more than the other two are, so I suppose I'm in a bit of a hurry to get this done.
I soon arrived at the Fairlea community co-op building, where a celebration of life was held for Lauren. I've never seen that room so packed before. I drummed for dancers for the first time! That was fun. I'm a little inspired to get myself a drum after I've settled in.
In the evening, Rick, Marie, and I watched episodes one and two of Rome, which is a fairly well written series in my point of view.
Wow, I wrote a lot...Stay tuned for more!
