I have been informed of such on prior occassions, yet I do not see it as creepy, simply truthful. I prefer not to skirt around the subject of death and simply be straightforward with pure honesty.

Perhaps if you had a fiend tear two limbs from your body slowly and painfully, then leave you there as if you were a rejected toy to die, yet sweet death never relieves you of the paine. Perhaps only then would you understand.

I was simply minding my own business. At the time it was immensely painful, yet I must continue this existence as only half of what I used to be. I simply wish to end this existence yet to no avail can I attain said end.
