more gigging
supergrass show was excellent, really really good, aside from the annoying drunks in the crowd. well, seeing that tomorrow's mediaeval baebes show is in a church there'll hopefully not be too many pushy drunks in attendance. :p
just looking at some upcoming gigs in the next week. apocalyptica is friday night at the astoria. i like the music, and they are supposed to put on a good show, but i still wonder how entertaining 4 cello players can be? sunday is the dandy warhols, also at the astoria, how did i miss hearing about that? will def consider that if i can get a ticket. i am so going to miss the astoria. *sniff* gogol bordello is playing the roundhouse next week, i really don't know much by them but they are suppose to be amazing live so will ponder that. ironic that there's so much so close together when usually it's months sitting on the sofa between gigs.
and one gig i found odd, lynyrd skynyrd is playing at brixton academy. lynyrd skynyrd. the original good ol' boy southern rock band. they should be playing wembly, not brixton. i was never a fan, am too young, but they're like, i dunno, led zeppelin huge. weird.
