my letter to Mr. Roth
Mr. Roth,
I really want to thank you for everything. I have never had a teacher have so much faith in me. You have believed in me and the whole band. You gave me reasons to come to school and meake it through the day when I felt like just going home because I thought I couldn't do it. I really think if it wasn't for my love for band (thanks to you) that I would miss so much more school. Sometimes that might hold back anyone knowing my appreciation for band and what you have done for it. Things aren't always the easiest for me. I would never drop band; even thought no one culd replace a person like you. But things happen for a reason and hopefully it is for the best. It almost feels like I am being pushed out of the nest to be on my own now. You have shown me what I need to know and I have had so much fun learning. I have never really been good at finding where I fit in and where I beloing or have made friends easy till my first day of marching band. You made it fun and easy for me to express myself and it is all thanks to you and the person you are. So again I want to say THANK YOU!!! I will miss you a lot, and congratulations on your move forward. I hope you new school gives you the respect you deserve. You should be proud and they are a really lucky school
