Appendix
The Models.
The entire way through this project the diagrams and flow charts I have been using have been instrumental in the clarifying, tying together, and solidifying of associations, theories, and concepts. I decided that it will be useful to include them in the reference material within the thesis paper for the viewer to catch a glimpse into my creative process. These diagrams and flow charts attempt to model both the development of the work, and the similarity and associations between seemingly disparate fields of study and realms of thought.

Excerpts from my working notes:
present / past / future
The figures will be submerged in “present” TimeSpace comprised of altered past elements / structures / plasma moving into future TimeSpace / past becomes present becomes future.
………………………………
Openness, channels, flow, canals, birth canal
Created form / space / color / life - primordial elements
Developed color
Altered color
In turn developing, altering, affecting, catalyst to, feeding back into, moving toward
……………………………………………………
Propelled motion / growth / evolution
Sustained
Suspended
Submerged
Immersed
………………………………………………………………
Womb/incubation/development/internal reality/nurtured -> birth/emergence/external reality/less dependent
…………………………………………………………………………………
Elements morphed / changed / altered / -> feeding into next form / abstraction / reality -> affecting previous and next ->
………………………………………………………………………………………
organic flow of created forms / development / color / spaces /
…………………………………………………………………………………………
figures move within -> forward into subsequent reality / realities, and interact with each other & the environment - catalysts to organic development
……………………………………………………………………………….
Womb <- hourglass -> Infinity
…………………………………………………………………………………….
other diagrams… similar in form! Tension point is in the middle - point of transition or “birth”? - crossing into next TimeSpace?
…………………………………………………………………………………….
Potentiality of evolution / change / recreation / rebirth within “plasma” or “gel” space that the bodies are immersed in.
