Going out with a bang
What shall todays entry be about? More of my shitty experience with my parents? Nah I think I'll save that entry for 3 in the morning.
Today was the last day of school. Honestly I wouldn't have gone if it weren't to see a select few people.
I hung around Vince most of the day, in Kellers classroom reading "The Five People You Meet In Heaven", fantastic book, need to find a copy for myself. Played Halo2 with some ol Sophmore friends for a period then went to lunch.
I was kinda happy at lunch because a certain lady, whose name shall remain closed off, surprised me and she did it a few times after that. I was looking foward to 6th period cause then we would get to talk. But the principal had the brilliant plan of closing everybody off in the cafeteria.
I hung out with Amanda, Vince, Justin and Dustin for a while but then went off to talk to "her". We talked for a bit, we laughed, and of course I didn't have the pair to ask her "Hey, you wanna grab a cup of coffee over the summer or go to the movies or something?", plus there were people around and I don't handle well in those situations.
I have her number so maybe I'll call her who knows...
Anyways Vince and I were desperate to get out of there (he was gonna fake a seizure with milk). Then our prayers were answered: a couple of black kids started a fight and created a diversion to steer the admins away from the doors. Then we did the greatest thing one could do on the last day of school, make a full sprint out of there and run to Kellers' class.
Ahhh so much fun, I felt alive.
