Retail

Now I am totally open to entertaining that I have become impatient as I've gotten older, but I found myself very irritated with retail sales people today and one in particular.   I was in a store and nearly got shoved out of the way not once , but 4 times by the same sales person who was putting clothes back. He did have an armfull of clothes but not so many he couldn't see over and not once did he say "excuse me" or "hello".  I almost wanted to yell, "I'm trying to shop here!" . I wasn't even intentionally in his way. I kept moving to another rack evertime he came my way but it seemed no matter where I moved he was there.

I worked retail for 8 years.  I know how hard the job is, but I also remember that customers come first. I'm not asking for pushy sales people, but a greeting would be nice. At the very least, it would have acknowledged that he saw me there instead of shoving me to the side with the clothes in his arms.

Ugh, so happy for internet shopping.
