I came just in time for the power to be confirmed to not be coming back up at my work. the back up generators were not going to help keep the frozen, dairy and meat cold enough so myself and 2 dozen other store workers had to load up everything that wasn't in a case that closed with an air tight door (milk, eggs, butter, juice) and loaded them up into shopping carts... and took them to the loading docks to be put into fridge\freezer trucks :P then when the power finally got back up we helped them put it all back on the shelf the next day. Even though the whole area was covered in darkess (daylight aside) ppl still came to the store and asked if they could buy stuff, we'd tell them the po0wer was down aka our registers and they still did not care. it wasn't plesant.
