I am so incredibly jealous.

I'm really, really not a trekkie. I never liked Star Trek - I always found it dry and boring when I was flipping through tv channels and would almost immediately change the channel. I saw one of the movies on a plane, once, and even as a captive audience member, I still don't remember finding it particularly interesting (I don't even remember the plot)! In fact, for a long time, Star Trek was kind of the symbol of all that was wrong with science fiction for me. BSG was like, the best thing that ever happened to me as a nerd ;)

But this movie? I am so freaking excited. It looks amazing. It looks exciting. It looks interesting and fresh and epic and--- EXPLOSIONS, WHEE!

So basically, I am sooooooooooooo glad to hear that you enjoyed it :D

Also, The Queen's Rebuke is totally my favorite song off that album.

Wait, no, I'm thinking of the Wanting Comes in Waves. Whatever. I love her voice. Did you see them on the Colbert Report? It was short, but fantastic.

I like that song quite a bit, too. I saw them for the first time on the Colbert Report and wanted to check out more of their stuff.

Haha, well then, just a word of caution: That CD is unlike most of their other stuff. The woman signing isn't on any of the other albums.

My favorite overall cd by them is Castaways and Cutouts. The Crane Wife is equally as awesome though. Honestly, I love all their stuff. Hazards of Love was definitely a little weird though, but in a good way.

Many things go 'splodey. ^-^
I think you'll enjoy it if you like adventure and sci-fi.
