I wrote it on the spot this morning, but I hope i did a good job.


Darling, don't look back
You never know how long you'll have
Until your time runs out.
Run for your life, because it's almost here to get you

Oh why do you do this to yourself?
Bring back memories that make you weak
Let them go now girl
Because you seem to be drowning further into your abyss

Your eyes gloss with deception
Your heart breaks on the table
The knife that called to you, seems to be destroying you
So sing your song of love, because no one will hear you.

Run for you life girl
It's right behind you
You close your eyes as if you didn't know
And feel the cold hands on your neck

Your legs can't move as fast anymore
The memories flood you like water
Overflowing out of the cup
"Please don't come back," you cry

You're done now
You're sorry it turned this way
But some things are inevitable
As now you realize

But it's too late girl
For now you have to pay
Oh no! It's here to take you now
There's nothing you can do
It was your decision to stay
