I can't get over how lovely Rise Against's "Swing Life Away" and Anberlin's "Dismantle Repair" are. Every time I hear "if love is a labor I'll slave 'til the end" I squeal and do other lameass girly/closet romantic response-y things for the song all over again. And... oh, it's so hard to quote from "Dismantle Repair". It's just so lovely and gorgeous and gah.
I actually have nothing else to say on that save that the two songs make me wanna draw like a maniac. I actually have a drawing that I started ages ago in Hong Kong and never got around to finishing. It looks a bit wonky when I look at it, but it's easily fixed. All I need to do is draw one character's neck (and maybe his hand), the characters' clothes, shade it all in pencil, and then scan it. Voila. (Funniest typo of this I've ever seen: people in the Potter fandom, especially, randomly leaping up and shrieking "VIOLA!" in delight.)
Also wanted to say that Matt (from Death Note) is so gorgeous. Goggles plus stripey clothes plus oral fixation equals mrrr. I've barely seen him in the manga (save for his death =__=), but I already ship him madly with Mello. Their relationship in the Me Too doujinshi is so bittersweet. The ending... TT^TT
I think that the fight scene between L and Raito was one of the most awesome L/Kira moments ever, but... yeah. This just makes me laugh. I'm not quite sure what they're saying, but the first two words Raito's saying translates as "marry" in Chinese. So (don't quote me on this, but) I think he's asking L to marry him.
lmao. Now I want someone to propose to me just so that I can reject them in exactly the same way. XD
I should stop procrastinating and get back to reading Criminology HURR thank God for chapter 4 being on psychological explanations for criminal behavior. Two years of sleeping working through higher-level Psych pay off. I should get to reading English. And memorizing Chinese, but I really don't wanna do that, gah. =__=
