pull me into your perfect circle
i've been finding it really hard to maintain a buzz lately. uncool, body; so uncool.
life's been pretty boring lately, but that's just been because i've been so damn lazy. i don't feel any motivation to leave the house -- leave my room -- at all. i don't even really feel motivated enough to talk to people. which i know sounds like, onoes, DEPRESHUN!!1!, except that i do feel motivated to do other things. like draw! vaguely-a-secret: when i was... 14, 15? i used to draw a little webcomic, which i am not going to mention the name of because i'm sure someone will google it and i will be embarrassed forever. it was a shitty knock-off of boy meets boy, except that instead of sandra's awesome art and humor, it had my shitty art and humor. and no, i'm not being harsh on myself; it's a fact. my art and humor when i was 15 was pretty infantile. i'm better now.
i used to also... well, be more creative. so even though i couldn't draw for crap, i'd be constantly drafting up ideas for new comics, sketching up new characters and... stuff. there was an idea that i had that was a cheap rip-off of something i saw in tokyopop's rising stars of manga, which i re-jiggered thrice and drafted characters for (thrice), so i have three different girls with three different personalities, but all with the same name and all... the same person.
i've been revisiting their character designs. i wish i was in HK now because i have the old pages from '04 that i drew of the girls that i could compare my current art to, but... i redrew the boys today, and ahahaha such a huge difference. it's good. i'm glad. i'm glad that my fears that i'm not getting any better are unfounded. when i'm done with all my drawings of them, i'll post them up. but since i'm being random, have a picture of zack spin-kicking gintoki instead.
yeah yeah it doesn't look like gintoki, also that's the most pathetic block i've ever seen, i know, shut up. i couldn't think of a face for gintoki. somehow i think he'd be pretty bored. (i might go back and erase and make him seem OOCly like he's having fun because damn, man.)
and that's been my life so far. oh, aside from accidentally snapping my crisis core!cloud figurine in half, staring in shock for a moment, and then laughing, decapitating him and ripping his hands off too. counterattack thinks i may possibly be sephiroth. i think she may possibly be right. :\
