KOKO NI IRU YOOOOOOO~
in honor of the fact that there are some new people on my f-list now (HELLO GUYS), i shall attempt to talk about my day, as opposed to about psychonauts.
automatic doors made me question my existence. :| I SWEAR, EVERY AUTOMATIC DOOR THAT I WALKED UP TO TODAY FAILED TO RECOGNIZE ME. i walked up to them; no response. i stood under them waving my hands; still no response. then other people walked over and the doors opened up. what is this, is my blood a subzero temperature or something? was i hallucinating that i was moving when in fact i was standing perfectly still?
also, i bought booze, and then later discovered that in my local supermarket, they sell smirnoff... mojito. MOJITOS IN A BOTTLE. WHY DID I NOT KNOW THAT THIS EXISTED BEFORE I WENT AND BOUGHT SOME OTHER ALCOHOLIC THING!?
... but in all seriousness, i went for a talk today on doing postgrad honors (because unlike some degrees elsewhere, at my university, an arts degree is only three years long, with the 'thesis' year being optional). i'm torn about whether or not i want to do it. if i do honors, it'll be on creative writing. 10k words of a story, 5k words explaining why i wrote the story. but i wonder if it's really worth spending all the time and money just for four letters on my degree ("HONS"), and for an extra certification in something that still means nothing in the world.
edit: as i was scootering back in the cold i randomly made up a cutesy pop song! TOO BAD I CAN'T SING AND HAVE NO MUSICAL TALENT SO I CAN WRITE THIS SONG DOWN. man, i really wanna learn how to play the ukelele.
