So I went swimming for the first time in three years today. It was basically the first time I'd dedicated myself to exercise in three years. I swam for an hour.

Ohhhhh Goddddd. My arms. They feel like jello. This has never happened when swimming before. And while I was in the pool, my feet occasionally had mild cramps from lack of oxygen. THIS ALSO NEVER HAPPENS, NORMALLY. Also I found it hard to breathe. I had to set out a routine for myself: four laps with a kickboard, eight seconds to grab my breath, four laps without a kickboard (but without doing much arm movement either), eight seconds to grab my breath, and four laps of normal swimming, eight seconds to grab my breath. Rinse wash and repeat, and all this because the first set let me breathe, the second set let me move, and the third set... well, that's actually swimming. THIS IS TERRIBLE GUYS, I ONLY SWAM FOR AN HOUR AND I WAS SO OUT OF IT. I used to do swim training back in high school, and that was 1.5 - 2 hours of virtually non-stop frontcrawl, none of this pansyass kickboarding-for-breath crap. God I am so unfit.

On the plus side though, now I remember how to set a pace for myself (LOL I KINDA KILLED MYSELF WITHIN THE FIRST TEN MINUTES OF SWIMMING, I was going way too fast) and I'm getting back into the swing of it andddd I wanna go again next week because I so need to stop being a fat blob of fat. Minus the part where my arms stopped feeling like they were attached to my body, it was good. And yurr.

Aside from that: YAY I GET TO GO SEE CANDY RAIN IN THE CITY TOMORROW, Shoebean and Grasshopper if you wanna meet up my number's 0430-46-2828.
